What a fight Dmitry Kireev and Alexander Skvortsov gave! Backfist knockdown, chops and fiery extra round: the judges could not determine the winner
In the eighth pair of the RCC Fair Fight 23 tournament, the ring was shared by Dmitry Kireev and Alexander Skvortsov. They fought a three-round lightweight fight with small gloves.
Kireev went on the attack from the very first seconds, threw two powerful left hooks and cut Skvortsov at the start of the fight. Dmitry continued to put pressure on Alexander, trying to pin his opponent against the ropes and explode in series. At the end of the round, Skvortsov perked up and carried out several of his attacks.
He continued to attack Kireev in the second round. Skvortsov began to retreat less, meeting his opponent with kicks from a distance, while Dmitry still had the initiative. But in the middle of the round, Alexander threw a spectacular backfist, after which Kireev collapsed to the floor. Dmitry managed to get up and continue the fight after this unexpected knockdown.
