Watch UFC Vegas 68 Full Fight Stream Replay Part 1

Derrick Lewis( 26- 10( 1)) returned to UFC Vegas 65 in November after becoming ill hours before their scheduled start time. When he sparked out Chris Daukaus in December 2021, breaking the record for the most UFC knockouts in history, that was his final dub. Although that victory was sandwiched between three knockout losses, it was his 13th in the UFC and 21st of his career. Prior to that, he attended school and was ultimately TKO'd by Ciryl Gane( 2021) for the interim strap. Tai Tuivasa and Sergei Pavlovich both gave him vicious knockouts in February and July, respectively.

Sergey Spivak's( 15-3) first headline slot falling through at the last minute was heartbreaking, but fortunately he still has some time in the spotlight. He has two knockout victories and two of his best performances in his career, showing that he is in contrasting form. In March, he defeated Greg Hardy, and in August, Augusto Sakai. Those victories followed Tom Aspinall's first-round defeat in 2021, but that was his only loss in the previous six games.

Spivak is aware that in order to defeat "The Black Beast," he must always stay away from Lewis' hands, pick his shots, and mix in the ring. Spivak is a master wrestler. He averages more than four takedowns every 15 minutes and boats a 63% accuracy.

But Lewis has never seen anything like that before. He has spent years honing his takedown defense, and he is now very skilled at it. He will also be very confident because he defeated Curtis Blaydes, the division's best wrestler, and one of his takedowns ended in a devastating uppercut.

If Spivak can locate him, he will be very challenging to locate. He is incredibly powerful and skilled at getting back up. If Spivak manages to get Marcin Tybura on his back, he will have to control one of his legs while offloading his ground-and-pound weight because the man made him appear to be a middleweight when taking him down.

Although it makes no difference if Lewis connects with one shot, we are unsure of how much motivation he has for fights like this these days. Spivak is skilled at dragging Lewis down, draining the gas tank, and even killing him with a variety of takedowns.

Therefore, a Spivak decision or submission is likely, but Lewis is the underdog and the obvious play given his history of defeating fighters similar to SPIAK.
